Abstract
Cultivating a mindset of abundance as opposed to scarcity is a valuable practice, especially for those in health care. Evidence suggests that maintaining a scarcity mindset stifles creative solutions to challenges and may even constrain empathy. Purposeful practices that encourage development of an abundance mindset are offered.
