“Health Data in Research”
Three local researchers will discuss how they use health data in their research, the challenges they face in using health data, and how libraries can support the use of health data in research.
Dr. Sterling McPherson is Director for Biostatistics and Clinical Trial Design at the Washington State University Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine and Associate Director of Research for Analytics and Discovery at the Providence Medical Research Center.
Stacy Wenzl, MHPA, LSSBB is the Program Manager for the Data Center at the Spokane Regional Health District and a certified Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma performance improvement methodology.
Dr. Karen Colorafi is an Assistant Professor and researcher at the Washington State University College of Nursing.
