To remove potential barriers to participation, the National Institutes of Health is partnering with the National Library of Medicine. NIH recognizes the importance of health literacy and access to medical information and sees NLM’s work as essential to their success. This presentation will briefly describe the All of Us Research Program, highlight NLM’s strategy for engaging and supporting public libraries in their health literacy efforts and feature important ways health sciences librarians can participate in this national effort.
